The third Bahrain International Airshow returned to the Kingdom on 16-18th January 2014 and Mark Jefferies was again one of the stars of the show.
Its unique location at the Sakhir Airbase offers both visitors and pilots/crews the opportunity to experience one of the best flying displays in the Middle East. Mark commented; “This is one of the highlights of the year and it is a great privilege and an honour to fly and perform air show displays here at the Bahrain International Airshow. The people here have given us a warm welcome; the people and the place are wonderful… it really is a great pleasure to be in the Kingdom again.”
Mark was flying his Extra 300L resplendent in it’s striking Abarth livery that had been airfreighted out to participate in the Bahrain International Airshow which is fast becoming one of THE airshows on the International airshow calendar. The flying display at the Bahrain International Airshow provided a 5 hour visual spectacular in the sky featuring aerobatic display teams, military, historic and modern aircraft including the Mark Jefferies solo air display, the Al Fursan Aerobatic Team, the Breitling Wingwalkers, the Red Devils and Saudi Falcons Parachute Team, the Russian Knights, the Barhain Airforce Formation, a Gulf Air A330, an RAF Typhoon and a Supermarine Spitfire plus a whole host of ground attractions to keep all the family entertained.
Mark added; “It has been a great airshow event and I very much look forward to coming back… now we have to dismantle the aircraft and head to India for the next leg of my International air display tour 2014!”
