International display pilot Mark Jefferies today took the Awesome Extra 330LX up from Jandakot airport Perth, WA. Flying from from the back seat in the clear blue skies of Western Australia where meeting the blues seas of the Indian Ocean.
The training and practice area is near Garden Island just on the coast (google maps link) After arriving on the evening of Friday 15th Mark is training with Dieter Ebeling of Awesome Aviation and old friend from many years ago whom he competed with and against in numerous International aerobatic championships the first being in 1993.
After getting in the time zone and up to speed on the EX300LX (VH-IXN) Mark will be flying the 1600 nm across Australia to Avalon nr Melbourne to display at the show being 1 of 5 International pilots invited.
